VisionIT was founded over 20 years ago by David Segura, and now works with some of the largest corporations in the U.S. and globally providing IT services and solutions across specific IT practices and products.
Segura leads the VisionIT corporate strategy and under his leadership the company went from a startup to a mid-size corporation operating across the U.S., as well as Mexico and the Philippines. Segura develops executive level relationships with customers, corporate partners, and state and local governments.
He also serves as a board member of Stanford University’s Latino Business Action Network which has built the most extensive research on Hispanic businesses in the U.S. as well as a nationally recognized entrepreneurship program for high growth firms. Segura serves as a board member of the Detroit Regional Chamber, one of the largest regional chambers in the U.S. by revenue. Segura is an advisor to the Michigan eLAB, a venture capital fund operating in Silicon Valley and Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Segura has global impact by serving in his 2nd term from his appointment by the United States President to the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations in support of the U.S. Trade Ambassador. Segura also served the U.S. Secretary of Commerce on the National Advisory Council on Minority Business Enterprise.
Segura is active in professional boxing as an advisor to Domonique Dolton, a top welterweight prospect and serves on the board of the Norwayne Boxing Gym based in Wayne, Michigan.
Segura has served on numerous non-profit boards including the Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Heat and Warmth Fund (THAW). He is honored to have had his accomplishments recognized by many organizations, including Ernst & Young, who named him Entrepreneur of the Year for the Central Great Lakes region and Hispanic Business Magazine’s national entrepreneur of the year.
He earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.
In this role as COO and General Counsel for VisionIT, Friedman is responsible for ensuring the structure and the resources exist to deliver global services at levels that exceed client expectations. Friedman also leads the expansion of VisionIT’s Managed Services business, including expansion into new markets and development of Alliance/Partnership strategies.
During his career, Friedman has had the opportunity to touch almost every aspect of the IT business. He has developed a strong track record in business process design and re-engineering, as well as a reputation for effectively leading large, global, cross-disciplinary delivery teams. Friedman has developed a keen awareness of the challenges of operating in multi-national and global environments. He has worked on several enterprise-wide transformation efforts, giving him broad visibility into organizational change dynamics, the key success factors and risks of change initiatives, and the imperative that large change initiatives, once undertaken, succeed.
As Chief Financial Officer for VisionIT, Fatih Arslan maintains the company’s operating budget and oversees all finance and accounting activities, including the creation of pricing models and contracts. He leads all financial planning, strategic investment analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Mr. Arslan has nearly two decades of experience in both public and private companies, ranging from start-ups to global multi-billion-dollar organizations.He has built a reputation by providing guidance in process improvement, process design, systems implementation and change management initiatives involving finance, purchasing and operations. His experience also includes merger and acquisition work, strategy development, and business planning. Mr. Arslan is a graduate of the “7 Habits” and “The Customer” training programs.
Fatih has served in an executive capacity for multiple technology companies including Netlink Software Group, SDE, and most recently as the acting CFO at Xeeva. His other roles include Program Manager, Controller, Global Controller, and VP of Finance. He has a MBA in Finance from Wayne State University and Bachelor of Science in Management from Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey.
Paul Toenjes is responsible for guiding the company’s global strategy focused on business development, sales, partnership support and solutions delivery. His extensive experience in executive and IT leadership roles, alongside a deep technical knowledge of cloud computing and cloud platforms, SaaS, Internet \ E-commerce, mobility, IoT (Internet of Things) and mainframe systems, Toenjes brings unparalleled value to the VisionIT executive management team.
In his role, Toenjes ensures clients receive high value, innovative technical and workforce solutions to drive higher levels of performance and success. He is also vital to growing the VisionIT business, leading aggressive growth initiatives and identifying business development strategies to attain new client partnerships for the consulting and managed services business.
Toenjes is a recognized and respected leader in the IT community whose esteemed career spans over 30 years in technology, executive sales and IT leadership roles. Before joining VisionIT, Toenjes led several initiatives for mid-size to global Fortune 500 companies as part of Compuware and their spinoff company – Covisint. During his tenure, Toenjes established an e-Commerce line of business comprised of more than 300 staff and four Digital Development Centers, and created healthcare-focused solutions by taking the Covisint automotive interoperability platform into the healthcare industry.

James A. Findlay, Vice President of Sales for VisionIT, is responsible for guiding the company’s global growth strategy. James brings global perspective and deep industry experience to the VisionIT executive management team. James has played a leadership role at several companies and helped deliver significant business benefits to his customers over his 24 years career in business operations, management, and sales. His current responsibilities include driving new sales opportunities, forecast and pipeline management, community and civic relations, and customer contract & partnership agreements.
Before joining VisionIT, James was responsible for sales, operational & relationship management of Lochbridge professional services to the auto manufacturers and Tier I/II/III suppliers.
Prior to that, James worked at Detroit-based Compuware, performing in the roles of Sr. Account Executive, District Sales Manager, Regional Director of Sales, Managing Director and Vice President of the non-GM Automotive & Healthcare verticals.
James has a Bachelor of Science degree from Oakland University. He continues to be active within the University community via Alumni and Athletics fundraisers and Oakland University advisory boards.
